SUSTAINABILITY

For more than thirty years, Eden Park has carefully chosen its partners to ensure impeccable quality and textile innovation. Because the durability of its products is at the heart of its concerns, the company is committed to an eco-responsible approach. With a Quality department within its headquarters, Eden Park performs numerous resistance tests on its products before market launch, whether on seam strength, on color fastness during washing or on pilling resistance. The use of exceptional materials such as Pima cotton, Italian materials made from premium fibers with traditional craftsmanship are some of its assets. Many materials are Oeko-Tex© certified: an Oeko-Tex© labeled fabric also provides the guarantee of a product without substances harmful to health and the environment. All these actions ensure the durability of our products over time. Finally, and because we are always in constant search of improvement, we are working on a range of products made from eco-responsible materials that will soon see the light of day in stores.

The Eden Park house perpetuates its responsible approach to sustainable fashion and circular economy with a sewing workshop that transforms the piece that cannot be discarded. Drawing inspiration from rugby symbols, the DNA and history of Eden Park, Léa, a young seamstress graduated from AICP, enhances pieces according to trends. These pieces are unique in their shape, size and customization. The pieces or fabrics used in manufacturing come from several sources: unsold items that are reinterpreted and historical pieces that need a new life.

The combinations of fabrics and colors are carefully thought out so that the garment is as elegant, desirable and comfortable as a new garment. Technique, respect for proportions and measurements as well as proper fit are aspects that are respected at Pap'Atelier! The production time for each piece varies depending on its complexity. A creation can take a few hours or a few days, it is unique and requires personalized reflection and transformation. The sale will consist of men's and women's pieces as well as accessories.

THE PIMA COTTON

Peruvian Pima cotton is cultivated in the sunny coastal valleys of northern Peru under particular and optimal climatic conditions that inherently limit its ecological footprint and benefit from ancestral local expertise. Its natural hand-harvesting process respects the environment and guarantees the highest quality fiber. Pima cotton is internationally recognized as the world's finest cotton due to its long fiber and exceptional resistance despite its softness. It is considered the "silk" of South America.

LOGISTICS

By choosing C-Log as a logistics partner, whether for your online orders or for deliveries to our stores, Eden Park has chosen a partner that is a signatory of the Fashion Pact which commits to fighting against global warming, to restoring biodiversity and protecting the oceans. Through its daily actions, this partner ensures it controls its environmental footprint by valorizing and recycling its waste, managing its energy consumption, while integrating the environment into its purchases and supplies. Just like Eden Park, our partner has chosen to put humans at the heart of its actions: gender equality, employee involvement in projects and actions, motivation and participation in objectives, everything is implemented to guarantee equity and the most motivating and warm social atmosphere.

OUR HEADQUARTERS

After ensuring the implementation of energy actions to reduce the ecological footprint of our sales points, Eden Park will focus its work on modifying its headquarters: changing the origin of its electricity to switch to a 100% French green source, modifying lighting fixtures to switch to low-consumption LED bulbs, optimizing infrastructure to ensure better insulation, better management of waste recycling. Everything is implemented by our Operations & Purchasing department to make the Eden Park headquarters a place with a low energy footprint.

OUR STORES

Since April 1, 2021, Eden Park is proud to have switched the electricity consumption of all its own stores to 100% French green energy in order to respect its brand commitment in this field. Holder of the "Powernext" certificate issued by our supplier, this electricity allows us to guarantee the origin of the consumption of all our sales points. In this same logic of commitment, Eden Park has ensured to replace all its store lighting fixtures to switch to low-consumption LED bulbs and thus reduce its ecological footprint. Finally, a project to install low-brightness LED screens in the back of shop windows will allow us to reduce in the short term, and even eliminate in the long term, the use of non-recyclable POS materials, while ensuring we respect measures fighting against visual pollution.

OUR EVERYDAY ACTIONS

If there's one rugby value that's close to our hearts, it's team spirit! On a daily basis, our employees get involved in corporate environmental actions that allow us to make a difference: whether through selective sorting of individual waste, providing water bottles, sourcing eco-responsible consumables that are constantly evolving, or individual energy-saving actions, everyone contributes to changing habits and making them more eco-responsible. Our HR department is fully mobilized on a long-term social commitment to ensure gender equality, improving working conditions such as implementing an optimal remote work charter for headquarters employees. And because Eden Park challenges itself daily to ensure better creativity and team spirit, a gym and fitness classes have been made available at our headquarters. Finally, seminars ensuring training and team-building between headquarters teams and the various distribution networks ensure optimal cohesion.
